003
After getting the display setup in the Festival Hall in Cannes, fighting our way out through the last efforts of the trade fair builders it´s time to get a beer and air the Cannes feeling. First stop in the early evening, Lounge Bar "Au Bureau" in the heart of Cannes at 49 Rue Felix Faure
Last finishes to a fee proposal in Dazhu when the the first BIG fish is landed, (neighbouring table).
Kai Uwe Bergmann together with Nathan Smith both from BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group and responsible for business development and on the road with their new project book `loop city´
The book documents a series of visionary ideas for the future sustainable cities where public transport is upgraded and the vast potential of the suburbs aroung Copenhagen is used to accomodate a large part of the future urban development in the capital region. The Loop City vision a new urban corridor which will not only link across the urban fingers of the Fingerplan (1947-2008), but also the whole Oeresund region. This introduces a new basic structure for the capital region and creates a basis for massive urban renewal. When BIG has setup Copenhagen then I suggest they visit Istanbul. BIG also has a shop on their home. For those hip persons with an iPad and not willing the drag books with them, there is the new publication `Yes is More´an archicomic on Architectural evolution (rated 12+, so no for minors)  as an App.

In tow of Kai Uwe Bergman, a dutchman, colleague and friend, Allard Meine Jansen, founding partner of alard architecture bv, Amsterdam. Allard, formerly at Renzo Piano and Herman Hertzberger is now out to show his fresh and innovative designs, backed up by indepth research and a multi-international team.

On the way back along the Croisset past the numerous fish restaurants one passes Mr. Kuschel, from Fritz Kuschel and Sons, Realestate Munich and Jakob Willibald, formerly BBI, Munich.

let´s see what today brings in the shark invested water of the international real estate market. (MIPIM)
